Strike or no strike, the fall TV season has been a disappointment, as I quickly blog for Season Pass at Variety.

Three of the four shows you're still watching are the three I still like -- I gave "Reaper" a second chance after I found out my PARENTS, of all people, are fans, but I still think the jokes are staler than the third "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie. I'm still hanging on to "Aliens in America" on the basis of its potential, although the CW has a decent record there -- "Everybody Hates Chris" got a lot better in the second season.

I watch "Reaper" and nothing else that is new.

Really really like Pushing Daisies. I think it's the best new show of the last 3 seasons. Like Reaper. It has some sheesiness to it, but the jokes are pretty good, and they actually talk like 21 year olds. (You can call someone a dick on TV now?!)
Those are the only 2 new shows I'm left with.

I love Pushing Daisies, and I've really gotten to like Life a lot. The pilot had some problems, but the later episodes have been terrific.

I started watching both Reaper and Chuck, which are pretty much the same show, but neither has really grabbed me. House has been pretty good this year, so I switched from Reaper back to that. (No TiVo for me.)
