Such a rich show ... frankly, it's becoming kind of epic.

The killer line tonight was, "I don't like you this way." It informs so much of the show, including the way the characters feel about themselves. But there was so much else that was great.

Did you notice good ol' Ernie Douglas in this one?

You can learn a lot from hobos.

So have we seen the last of Midge and the rest of her beatnik friends?

You could take two people to Paris on short notice for $2500 in 1960?

You could by Atlas Shrugged for $1.99, so why not?

Heck, you could devote $2500 to a New York-to-Paris weekend today and not miss by too much.

I certainly hope that is the last we see of the beatniks, and I don't really care for the Midge character either. The only remotely interesting thing about them is how Don plays off of them. I was astounded by how good the rest of the episode was. I love the questions they opened up about Sal this episode, and the scene near the end with Don and his son is probably one of my favorites of all time in television, just amazing.

I have one question. The hobo mark showing Don's dad is a dishonest man, it didn't seem like this hobo had enough time to make. Had it been there before and he hadn't seen it, or had he gone there for another reason, or had he done it earlier anticipating he wouldn't get the money?

Any comments on USA's Burn Notice? Seems very tight and well written for a cable series. Also the cast seems to fit together very well.

3 - I liked Midge, but you're right, the main value of the beatniks was how Don dealt with them.

I had the same questions about the mark.

4 - I've commented before. Liked it enough but decided not to make time to watch more of it. Struck me as a tighter, hipper Murder She Wrote.

I see Burn Notice more as MacGuyver meets Rockford Files.

The Dresden files (magic/crime) on Scifi is an interesting offbeat Private Investigator type of show. Hopefully, it is coming back this season.

6 -- Actually, The Dresden Files has been cancelled.

The other wickedly brilliant casting choice: Robert Morse as the senior guy in the company. Except this character's guidebook is "The Fountainhead" instead of "How to Succeed in Business."

I thought Tell Me You Love Me had a very good debut.

The sex scenes are in a word...

Wow!
