Great season finale for Big Love. Sets up a lot of stuff for next seasons.

Entourage is basically 27 minutes of ad space.

Oh and I saw Superbad and I want to see it again.

Hilarious, I definitely could see it being the 2000's version of Porkys, Animal House, Fast Times etc.

I got to see a few movies on my flights to and from Japan:

Once - awesome music, really effective "love" story, just plain makes you feel good
Shrek the Third - not bad, definitely coaxed a few chuckles but fell flat on a few too many jokes
Fracture - unfortunately I didn't get to see the end because they plane was about to land, but it was good up to the point I saw. Ryan Gosling gives another great performance and Anthony Hopkins plays the smarmy genius very well.

Trust me, you didn't miss much at the end of "Fracture."

"Once" remains my favorite movie of the year. But, man, "The King Of Kong" isn't far behind.

Jon, what are your thoughts on the possible WGA and SGA strikes? It seems like every studio in town is buying and rushing properties as quickly as possible.

What do the collective brain-pans at Variety say about this?

Whoops, I meant SAG. Google tells me that SGA is the Southern Gas Association, and I couldn't care less about them. And I'd venture Variety doesn't have an opinion either.

7 - Dave McNary writes about this stuff almost every day for us. Some people are getting uptight and definitely preparing for a strike. Audiences wouldn't see the effects for a while, though.
