Baseball Toaster was unplugged on February 4, 2009.
I can't even fathom how it's possible, but I actually seem to have an hour in front of the computer to watch Veronica Mars live:
9:00 - Why hasn't it started yet?
9:01 - Dang it - I've got Channel 13 on (old UPN) instead of Channel 5 (new CW).
9:01 - Not the best crying scene from Parker, the rape victim, but Veronica and Mac strike the right tone.
9:02 - Why is Sheriff Lamb questioning the victim in front of Veronica?
9:02 - I like how Lamb is putting Veronica on the spot about how she was in the room while it was going on (unbeknownst to her) but didn't catch the signs. Well set-up in last week's season premiere, and Parker adds a nice verbal punch at the end of the scene.
9:03 - opening credits.
9:04: Keith is still alive - that's good news.
9:04 - Wow, Samm Levine of Freaks and Geeks is in the credits, and Dan Castelleneta (Homer Simpson) is a professor. Levine, no doubt, is going to play someone 20 years younger than his actual age.
9:05 - Phone call for me. Well, that didn't last long.
